Christopher Nkunku should be sidelined until the fall. He is the third French player from Chelsea to currently occupy the Blues infirmary.
The news is not flamboyant for Christopher Nkunku. The Chelsea striker is expected to be sidelined for at least another two months, according to reports published by The Athletic.
Injured last Wednesday in the left knee during a preparation match against Borussia Dortmund (1-1) played in Chicago (United States), the 25-year-old French international suffered a new blow.
On November 15, 2022, Nkunku injured his right knee during training with the Blues. He had to forfeit the World Cup in Qatar. Chelsea definitely has some problems with its French players.
Central defenders Wesley Fofana (cruciate ligament rupture since mid-July) and Benoît Badiashile (hamstring problems since May) are still at a standstill.
Axel Disasi, third tricolor international also recruited to this position of central back by Chelsea, could worry if he was not insensitive to stories of curse.
