PSG: Benfica publish financial details of Gonçalo Ramos loan

It’s official since yesterday, Gonçalo Ramos left Benfica to join Paris Saint-Germain. A loan with a mandatory purchase option. The Lisbon club has also officially published a press release on the website of the Commission du Marché des Valeurs Mobilières (CMVM) with all the financial details of the case.

“Sport Lisboa e Benfica – Futebol, SAD informs that it has reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for the loan of player Gonçalo Matias Ramos until the end of the 2023/2024 season. This agreement includes the definitive purchase option of the player’s sporting rights, for an amount of €65,000,000. The amount of the transfer is €65,000,000 (sixty-five million euros) to which is added a variable remuneration linked to objectives, so that the total amount of the transfer could reach €80,000,000 (eighty millions of euros). This option may be exercised by Paris Saint-Germain or Benfica SAD during the current sports season. It is also specified that Paris Saint-Germain will have the right to keep the solidarity mechanism of 5%, to then distribute it to the clubs that have participated in the training of the player, and Benfica SAD will have fees for intermediation services. 10% of the value of brokerage services 10% of the value of brokerage services 10% of the player sale value”the statement said.
