At first glance, Aymeric Laporte presents serious assets for the OM recruitment unit.

Finding financial opportunities is part of OM's daily life. Economically weakened permanently, the club chaired by Pablo Longoria has been juggling for several years with assemblies to allow it to spend a minimum in the Mercato periods.

Aymeric Laporte presents an interesting profile for Olympique de Marseille in this. The Spanish central defender of Al-Nassr (Saudi Arabia) should be free in a few days, and therefore potentially recruited in the Marseille city without transfer compensation.

According to FOot Mercatothe central defender Slovak, David Hancko (Feyenoord Rotterdam), is in talks to engage with the Saudi club who would thus be overcoming his quota of foreign players.

An effective duo with Balerdi?

Aymeric Laporte, 31, mainly has the qualities to integrate a club which has just found a place in the group in the Champions League. Before being the teammate of Cristiano Ronaldo in Al-Nassr, Laporte accumulated a good experience in England in particular.

In the Manchester City jersey, e player of French origin (born in Agen) won the Premier League six times and a Champions League (2023). With the Spanish team (40 selections), he raised the Euro 2024 trophy.

If OM managed to seduce it, the left -hander Aymeric Laporte could join the right -hander Leonardo Balerdi. A duo for a promising hinge. And the two men speak the same language, Spanish.
