Real Madrid already anticipates the redistribution of its emblematic jerseys for next season. With the announced departure of Luka Modric, at the end of the contract, a page turns within the White House. And this new era could well start with two symbolic names: Kylian Mbappé, who joined the club last summer, and Endrick, the Brazilian nugget.

According to information from the Spanish daily AS, the captain of the Blues was offered the legendary number 10, now vacant. For the moment, the Frenchman evolves with number 9, but the idea of seeing him wear the 10 seduces internally. According to the Madrid media, the former Parisian would lean for this change, a way of taking on an even more central role in the club project.

This evolution would not be trivial. If Mbappé agrees to take the 10, number 9 would be released. And Real already has a very clear idea about its future owner. Still according to AS, the club plans to award it to Endrick. The young 18 -year -old striker, who currently bears number 16, embodies the future of the club alongside Mbappé and Vinícius.

An already planned redistribution?

The Spanish media claims that this plan is not new. Real had imagined this distribution of numbers as soon as the transfer of Mbappé, but the unexpected extension of Modric had delayed its implementation. Now that the Croatian is about to bow out, everything seems to be gathered to launch this duo in their new dynamic.

This change of number should take place at the start of next season. Until then, Mbappé and Endrick will keep their current jerseys for the Club World Cup, scheduled from June 15 to July 13 in the United States.
