Manchester City: Bernardo Silva puts pressure on Pep Guardiola

Since the start of the transfer window, the name of Bernardo Silva has come up very often on the front pages of the media. In England, France and Spain. And for good reason, the Portuguese would like to turn a page and try a new adventure. There seemed to be three options for him: extend to Manchester City, or join one of the two clubs most interested in his services: FC Barcelona and Manchester City.

Bernardo Silva steps up

The newspaper indicates that Bernardo Silva is pushing to leave and join FC Barcelona. He recently met with his coach Pep Guardiola to tell him of his desires to leave, and thus obtain a good exit. Although comfortable at Manchester City, he intends to discover a new adventure and knows that he will not have many opportunities to join Barça in the future.

FC Barcelona have already made a first proposal to their Manchester City counterparts, immediately refused by the English and European champion team. However, Guardiola would have assured him, already last summer, that in the event of a satisfactory offer, he would be sold.
