Led by the historic Pozzo family for decades, Udinese, where Florian Thauvin and Oumar Solet are playing in particular, is about to change owners. The Italian family, owner of the club for 39 years, would have sold the club to foreign investors still unknown for a sum of around 150 million euros, according to Rai. A shocking decision at the end of a season when Udinese was able to play the leading roles for several months before slowing down the pace at the end of the season.

Interviewed by the press agency Ansaclub leaders refused to comment, but an announcement should arrive in the coming hours, revealing the name of the new owner, which would be an investment fund based in the United States. The operation, for which the preliminary agreement would have already been signed in recent days, would only concern Udinese Calcio and not Watford, a club which would remain the property of Gino Pozzo.
