After a complicated season in Bavaria marked by numerous injuries, including an absence from the 2022 World Cup, as well as internal tensions, Sadio Mané has already left Bayern Munich. The Senegalese had already been heavily punished for his punch in the face to his teammate Leroy Sané, after the heavy defeat on the lawn of Manchester City, in the quarter-finals of the Champions League (3-0 ), before being gradually put on the transfer list.

Today at Al Nassr, the ex-Liverpool striker has not yet finished with his complicated stories at Bayern Munich. Invited to respond on the airwaves of RMC SportsBacary Cissé, adviser to Sadio Mané, took the floor to come back to the situation of the 31-year-old player and explained in particular the Mané-Sané altercation. “If Bayern hadn’t taken up the cause for Leroy Sané, things wouldn’t have gotten worse. If Bayern Munich hadn’t asked to sanction Sadio for the next three matches, it wouldn’t have happened like this.”he explained.

Bayern Munich firmly denies

Because according to the adviser, “If Bayern hadn’t asked Tuchel to go to the coal to tell Sadio that he was going behind Gnabry and Sané, it wouldn’t have happened like this”. According to the Senegalese press, Leroy Sané would have uttered a racist insult to Sadio Mané. An accusation that does not pass with the Bavarian management. As relayed by the German pressa press release from Bayern Munich denied the situation.

“We terminated our contract with Sadio Mané by mutual agreement. Accusations of racism, as again formulated by Sadio’s entourage, have been moot from the start. Likewise, our coach Thomas Tuchel never told Sadio he couldn’t use him anymore. FC Bayern appreciated Sadio Mané as a man and as a player. Unfortunately, the objectives that we had set ourselves together by hiring him were not achieved.explains Bayern Munich.
