While Nottingham realizes one of the best seasons in its history, the club was held in check on its lawn against Leicester, already relegated (2-2), this Sunday. A point which still formalized the return of the Reds to the European scene next season, but which obviously was not enough for the owner of the club, Evangelos Marinakis. At the final whistle, the Greek entered the field and exchanged words with his trainer Nuno Espirito Santo, quite vehemently.

According to The SunMarinakis prevailed after the scorer of Nottingham, Taiwo Awoniyi, was left on the lawn and continued to play while he was injured. In a statement after the meeting, the club owner wanted to clarify his position, without denying his anger. “Today is a day of celebration, because after 30 years, Nottingham Forest is now guaranteed to compete again on the European scene – a promise that I made to our supporters when we have promoted. Everyone was frustrated by Taiwo's injury and by the error of judgment of the medical staff on Taiwo's ability to continue the match. ” At least, we will not take away from the club the desire to have the requirement of the highest level.
