At midday, no details had filtered. OM had not officially communicated to explain the absence of Geoffrey Kondogbia. The versatile midfielder, an interim central defender, does not appear in the group of 22 players chosen by Roberto de Zerbi to face Le Havre, Saturday evening at the Océane stadium for the 33rd day of the French championship.

In that
Capital match for both teamsthe OM coach must also do without Ismaël Bennacer. And there it is not a surprise. The Algerian midfielder had complained in the week of a small lesion to the adductor. His season with OM may be over.

The Marseille team will therefore start with an eleven different compared to that aligned last Sunday in Villeneuve-d'Ascq against LOSC (1-1, 32nd day of Ligue 1) and in which Geoffrey Kondogbia and Ismaël Bennacer appeared.

Who with Balerdi?

To replace Kondogbia in central defense, alongside Leonardo Balerdi, Roberto de Zerbi could choose Ultisses Garcia and thus set off Quentin Merlin as left side. The Derek Cornelius option does not hold the rope too much. The Canadian international has lost credit to the Marseille staff in recent weeks.

One can also imagine a Balerdi-Murillo hinge with Pol Lirola or Amar de Ddic as a right back. The Bennacer's package does not overly disrupt OM. The entrance to Valentin Rongier at the start of the second period against Lille had been noticed in the right direction.
