Marcus Rashord sees himself slowing down in his momentum. Arrived at Aston Villa this winter as part of a six-month loan with a purchase option set at 48 million euros from Manchester United, the English striker was the victim of an injury to the hamstrings against Manchester City (1-2) Tuesday in the Premier League. He missed the semi-final of the FA Cup (England Cup) against Crystal Palace (0-3) on Saturday.

According to information from The AthleticRashford should be unavailable for the rest of the season. Bad news in perspective for Unai Emery four days before the end of the championship.

An uncertain future

As for the future of Manchester's child, no clear trend emerges for the moment. It remains to be seen whether the leaders of the Birmingham club will choose to lift the purchase option, provided of course that the main interested party wishes to continue the adventure at Villa Park.

As a reminder, under the colors of the Villans, the left winger of the Three Lions displays a balance sheet of 4 goals and 6 assists in 17 appearances.
