Will OM find its captain Leonardo Balerdi on lawns? This is one of the questions that the Marseille staff were asked this week this week to welcome the Brest stadium, as part of the 31st day of Ligue 1. Back from an internship started Tuesday in Rome (Italy) and extendable until the end of the season, Roberto de Zerbi gave news from the 26 -year -old Argentine central defender.

“” Balerdi, we'll see, I haven't decided anything yetsaid OM coach on Saturday at a press conference, quoted by The Phocaean. We will see his sensations. He's ready to be there, but we'll see if he's playing tomorrow (Sunday) or against Lille (Sunday May 4 for the 32nd day, editor's note) ”.

The Argentinian international (6 selections) has not been playing for almost a month, and an injury contracted on March 29 in Reims in the league during a 3-1 defeat. Released in the 34th minute, Leonardo Balerdi suffered from a sprain from the internal lateral ligament of the left knee.

No risk

The former Dortmund player has resumed collective training, by sequences, for a few days. It is assumed that Roberto de Zerbi will not precipitate the return of his captain even if the latter assures him of good sensations.

Before the 31st day of the French championship, started Friday evening with a big surprise during PSG-Nice (1-3), OM occupies second place in the ranking with a point ahead of AS Monaco (3rd).
