For several months, Paris Saint-Germain has been watching very closely a young Portuguese talent in full explosion. Promised to a bright future, this 17 -year -old attacking midfielder was at the top of the Luis Campos list, determined to consolidate the future of the club with high potential recruits. But the latest news from Portugal seriously cools Parisian heat.

It is of course Rodrigo Mora, the jewel of FC Porto. The Portuguese club has just completed the terms of a contract extension until 2030, with the key a release clause estimated at 70 million euros. At this price, even a club like PSG must think twice, especially for such a young player, still perfectible despite impressive statistics this season.

They wanted it at all costs: Mora said no to PSG!

To make sure of the situation, several other European giants have positioned themselves. FC Barcelona would have actively relaunched the file, determined to counter the Parisian plans. Others like Manchester City, Bayern Munich and even Real Madrid monitor the situation with interest. A war of nerves begins, and Paris no longer leaves favorite.

Rodrigo Mora is moving away: PSG loses its hand in a hot file

Porto has perfectly played his blow. By locking its gem before the transfer window, the Lusitanian club ensures a position of force in the negotiations. PSG, which dreamed of Vitinha or Nuno Mendes at a new blow, must now deal with a much more complex than expected situation.

For Luis Campos and PSG, this flip-flop seriously complicates the summer strategy. The club may have to activate other tracks or hope for a last-minute reversal. One thing is certain: the Rodrigo Mora file no longer looks like an easy to complete blow.
