Roberto Soldado puts an end to his professional career

In a video posted on his social networks, ex-Spanish international striker Roberto Soldado (38 years old, 12 caps, 7 goals) announced that he was ending his professional career after 19 years and nine clubs. In total, he will have scored 231 goals and delivered 74 assists in 622 games in all competitions.

“I have to tell you one thing: today I put an end to a 21-year career and a dream that I never thought would come true, let alone last for so long. Thank you to my colleagues, friends, family, coaches and fans who have been with me on this journey. Farewell.”
