Mbappé, the nightmare scenario

Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappé has had a difficult week and will be forced to suspend his activities for the next few days, while the Merengues are trying to keep their season in the Liga and in the King's Cup.

Additional examinations have confirmed that Mbappé suffers from an ankle injury, after the first reports reporting a sprain on Wednesday evening.

Mbappé came out just under 20 minutes from the end of the game against Arsenal in the Champions League. The Frenchman drink due to an ankle injury. It was the second consecutive match he did not finish, after his red card against Alavés in the first half last Sunday. According to Cadena Cope and Diario As, the ankle sprain is “light” and, eight days from the King's Cup final, he should be back in time to face Barcelona in Seville.

If the injury had been more serious, Mbappé would have been forfeited, but in the current state, he should hold the Cartuja. Mbappé was suspended for the shock against the Athletic Club Sunday evening, and it seems unlikely that it is in danger for the movement of the Merengues to Getafe following Wednesday.

No risks for the Copa final
