Inzaghi's strong words before the Bayern-Inter shock

The future of Simone Inzaghi at the head of Inter Milan seems sealed for an even longer duration. While his current contract runs until 2026, echoes from Italy announce an imminent extension.

Marriage between Simone Inzaghi and Inter Milan seems to be off to last. Under contract until June 2026, the Italian coach is now on the way to extend his lease with the Nerazzurri, according to the information reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport This Tuesday.

The Transalpine sports daily evokes an agreement between the two parties, in the process of being formalized. Inzaghi should thus extend his lease of two additional seasons, until June 2028. An excellent news for the reigning Italian champions, as the Champions League return from the Bayern Munich, after their 2-1 victory.

Since his arrival on the bench of the Lombard club in July 2021, Inzaghi guided the Inter to a 20th Scudetto in the 2023-24 season, while leading his men to the final of the Champions League 2022-23, lost to Manchester City (0-1). And the inter -ads are more than ever in the running to reach the last square in this new edition of the C1.
