Disappeared from the radar and relegated to the bench during the last friendly matches, the situation of Marco Verratti at PSG calls out. However, she doesn’t seem to be linked to the rumors of her leaving for Saudi Arabia.

Marco Verratti, present with Paris SG during the tour in Japan and South Korea, is not in his optimal form. The midfielder doesn’t seem to fit into Luis Enrique’s plans. The new driver of PSG, did not ask too much of his services during this summer tour of the Parisian club.

Of the five friendlies since the start of the Luis Enrique era, the former Pescara player has only started one game. He had, before the match against Jeonbuk Motors, only had to make do with coming on against Al-Nassr and Cerezo Osaka.

According to daily reports the team, the explanation for this benching could well come from a physical malform. The daily explains that the midfielder would be “ arrived at the recovery with a waist size far from the required standards”which would have pushed his coach not to align him until he finds a better form.

PSG sets its price

Arrived in July 2012 from Pescara, Marco Verratti is not a priority for Luis Enrique. It would not necessarily be surprising if number 6 decides to look elsewhere. Several Saudi clubs have shown interest in his profile, including Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli.

However, Paris will not let go of their midfielder at a bargain price. RMC claims that PSG now demand a transfer fee of 50-60 million euros to part ways with the 30-year-old. This sum could still slow down the negotiations, while Al-Hilal would only offer 30 million euros.
