Bayern Munich has seen a pack of very great players wearing its colors since the club's creation in February 1900. It is however one of the most emblematic in its history that is about to leave Bavaria, after seeing everything and known. According to the German media Kicker, Bayern will not keep Thomas Müller at the end of the season.

Müller, 35, is at the end of the contract next June but has not planned to retire. He saw himself rather well continuing the adventure for a few more years with his training club, but the savings that Bayern wishes to achieve do not go in this direction. Unless surprised, the most captured player in the history of the legendary Bavarian training, with 742 appearances in all competitions, will be invited to go to see elsewhere and look for a new challenge.

This season, already, Vincent Kompany has counted a little less on him (8 tenure in 23 matches, for a goal and three assists in the Bundesliga) and the FCB coach would not want to have him other than as a mentor at the bench for the 2025-2026 season. Unless it accepts a sharp salary drop and a reduced role, we should therefore see Thomas Müller in another jersey soon.

A real legend from Bayern

Weilheim's career is one of the most beautiful on the planet among footballers of his generation. With Bayern, Müller scored 247 goals and delivered 273 assists, which makes him the third top scorer of all time for FC Hollywood, behind his namesake Gerd Müller and Polish Robert Lewandowski. To his record since his beginnings in 2008, the interested party has 12 titles in the Bundesliga, two Champions leagues, six cuts in Germany, two World Cups in clubs, but also a World Cup with Germany.

If he was no longer as dashing in 2014, the year he finished in the top 5 of the Ballon d'Or ranking, Müller normally still has enough leftovers to live a new adventure abroad abroad. Unless he wishes to stay in Germany, in which case all the rivals of Bayern will be happy to offer him a contract.
