Cristiano Ronaldo added a new award to his record: the Guinness record for the greatest number of selection victories.

Last November, Ronaldo set a new international record after the 5-1 victory of Portugal over Poland, thanks to a double of the captain of the Seleçao. The fivefold Ballon d'Or has become the player who won the most victories in selection with 132 victories, thus breaking the record for his former Real Madrid teammate, Sergio Ramos.

Before the quarter -final return of the League of Nations between Portugal and Denmark at the José Alvalade stadium, Ronaldo officially received a Guinness Record plaque, commemorating the fact that he is the player who won the most victories in selection.

A Guinness Records for CR7

Ronaldo also holds the Guinness record for the greatest number of selection goals, being the first player to have scored 100 goals in the UEFA Champions League and the most followed man on Instagram.

Unfortunately, Ronaldo failed to make his latest award with Panache, missing a penalty in the first period against Denmark. The 40-year-old should find the Saudi club Al-Nassr on April 4, with a significant shock against his lifelong rival, Al-Hilal.
