According to a report, Real Madrid won’t be looking to complete a deal for Kylian Mbappé after August 12.

  1. The Frenchman’s transfer saga continues as we enter the final month of the summer transfer window. Placed on the Paris Saint-Germain transfer list and excluded from Luis Enrique’s first team, Kylian Mbappé’s future is up in the air.

Although the French giants accepted Al-Hilal’s record-breaking €300m offer for the 24-year-old last week, the Bondynois were unwilling to negotiate with the Saudis despite the huge sum money offered to him. The case is therefore at an impasse.

Real Madrid, the club the striker is expected to join next summer, have so far refrained from making a move after finding themselves betrayed last year when a transfer seemed to be in the offing but the goalscorer made a shocking about-face. Los Blancos are said to be ready to put money on the table for the player but they are waiting for PSG to make the first move to facilitate the deal.

In this month of August, we are approaching a double deadline. Tonight, July 31, the deadline given by Nasser Al-Khelaifi to Mbappé to make a final decision on his future has passed. He is not expected to communicate anything.

PSG will therefore reaffirm that Mbappé is on the market and he could even start discussions with Real Madrid. If negotiations were to open, they would have to go quickly.
