Reported following the sudden death of the doctor of FC Barcelona, Carles Minarro, the meeting between Barcelona and Osasuna in Liga now poses logistics problems. As explained Readerat present, there are only two dates available without taking into account any eliminations or readjustments of calendar: Thursday March 27 or Wednesday May 21. The Liga gave the two clubs until Friday to formulate their preference, and will decide according to the will of each club.
For Barça, priority is the date of the month of hand. Indeed, Thursday March 27 corresponds to the date of return of the players who left for the international break. The Catalans should therefore present a largely revamped team to compensate for the absences of South American players such as Raphinia or Ronald Araujo and the fatigue of players who have played meetings with their selection a few days before. However, a date could be released if Real Madrid eliminates Atlético Madrid in the Champions League. Indeed, Blaugranas and Merengues would not play their quarter -final on the same day for reasons of TV rights, which would certainly offer a new window to La Liga to reprogram the meeting.
