After a superb season with Atlético, Antoine Griezmann is expected by Madrid fans to blaze alongside a sensational Memphis Depay.
New season and yet another new chapter for Antoine Griezmann at Atlético. The 2018 world champion superbly revived his career in 2022-2023, finishing with a superb record of 16 goals and 18 assists in 48 games with the Colchoneros. At 32, “Grizi”, who took over his number 7 (at the expense of Joao Félix), is ready to wear Diego Simeone’s training again and again.
Arriving 3rd last June, Atlético strengthened without spending much during the off-season, with the signings of César Azpilicueta and Caglar Söyüncü free of any contract, the recruitment of left-back Javi Galan and numerous loan returns.
