Manchester City will finish the season without Nathan Aké. The Dutch defender, forced to give way to half-time the match against Plymouth (3-1) in FA Cup due to a fracture of the left foot, was successfully operated on Monday.

However, it should be unavailable until the end of the season. An additional blow for Pep Guardiola, already deprived of John Stones and Manuel Akanji, also at the infirmary.

On social networks, Aké wanted to reassure the supporters of the Skyblues: “This season has been very frustrating for me, but I have now been successfully operated on with a fracture at the foot that has bored me for months and I consider the future with optimism! It is now time to rest and recover, see you soon the Citizens and thank you for your support ”wrote the native of The Hague on Instagram.

As a reminder, the former Bournemouth player has played 18 games in all competitions with City this season, including 14 as a holder.
