Racing Club de Lens announced two important signings this Friday.
After an exceptional season in terms of points, concluded with a runner-up place behind Paris Saint-Germain, Racing Club de Lens is having a very turbulent off-season. At the dawn of a campaign which will mark its great return to the Champions League almost 20 years after its last participation, the artesian club must face the offensives of many teams for its executive players.
Lens has thus lost two major elements of its eleven-type in recent weeks: striker Loïs Openda, sold to RB Leipzig for a record sum, and captain Seko Fofana, sold in Saudi Arabia, to Al-Nassr. But Lens is also working to secure the contracts of other executive players.
2 strong links of the team are back!
RC Lens announced this Friday the contract extensions of Brice Samba and Przemyslaw Frankowski. Arrived a year ago from Nottingham Forest, the goalkeeper extended his lease with the Sang et Or until 2028. A very good operation for the club, which can rely on a goalkeeper voted best goalkeeper in Ligue 1 last season, and new French international.
For his part, Przemyslaw Frankowski has also signed a new contract which will bind him to the club for the next 5 years, until 2028. In a role of right piston in the animation in 3-4-1-2 concocted by Franck Haise , the Pole has also established himself as a strong link in the team.
