Algerian international Youcef Belaili has found a new club, with emoluments revised upwards.
Free since leaving Ajaccio, Youcef Belaili left to take up a new challenge in his career. The Algerian international is expected in Morocco and more precisely in WA Casablanca.
Belaili on the relaunch
The vice-champion club of Africa would have succeeded in convincing the Oranais to sign in favor. He notably offered him an annual contract weighing 650,000 euros. This is almost triple what he received in Corsica. The information comes from the DZ Foot site, specializing in Algerian football.
If he commits quickly, Belaili can hope to play the final phase of the Arab Cup of Clubs with his new team beidaouie. The WAC is in group B of this competition, in particular with Al-Hilal, the club which seeks to recruit Kylian Mbappé.
If he becomes competitive again quickly, Belaili can believe in a return to the Algerian selection. Djamel Belmadi did not retain him during the last rally when he was part of the tauliers. Belaili is aiming for a third participation in a consecutive African Cup, he who had been the great architect of the coronation acquired in Egypt in 2019.
Belaili said yes to WAC and refused a return to his former club Espérance de Tunis. Indeed, the Tunisian club was also part of its courtiers, as well as the Egyptians of Zamalek.
