Carlo Ancelotti will need as many options as possible in the Real Madrid workforce before a second half of the 2024/25 charged season.

David Alaba's staggered return after his injury has been a key boost in recent weeks, the Austrian having returned to action gently. He will provide timely defense coverage, to allow rest and a rotation in the ranks of white los, while Ancelotti seeks to balance his team.

However, with the likely addition of two other games in the Champions League qualifiers in February, in addition to the Liga and the COPA Del Rey, its resources will be put to the test. According to REVO reports, a decision has already been checked, concerning the post of Aurelien Tchouameni in the coming weeks. Ancelotti constantly sought to mitigate attention to the French international after his series of mixed form on the cover of the central rear station.

Aurelien Tchouameni, the end of rumors

Tchouameni was even hooked by part of the local supporters when he returned from the Spanish Super Cup, but he continues to benefit from the confidence of Ancelotti. Raul Asencio also covered the right rear position during the 3-0 weekend victory against Real Valladolid, Tchouameni playing in the central position.

The calm concerning Asencio and Tchaoumani playing in suitable positions relieves Ancelotti who needs her team to be flexible. Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao will no longer play this season following injuries to the previous cross ligaments and players will have to intervene to cover these positions.

Real Madrid still has a chance to get an automatic place in the knockout stages of the Champions League, but it will have to win in Brest in the middle of the week and hope that the results elsewhere are favorable to it.
