Liverpool are reportedly very interested in him, and now another Premier League club has reportedly entered the race.
According to Football Insider (via MD), Manchester City are interested in Tchouameni, and they have asked head coach Pep Guardiola if he wants the French midfielder to be pursued.
Manchester City are still reeling from the season-ending injury suffered by Rodri Hernandez in September, and they plan to sign a ‘replacement’ this month. They have been interested in Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi, although it appears Tchouameni is now the player the spotlight is on.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester City will make a move for Tchouameni, although Real Madrid do not want to lose him, especially in the middle of the season. As such, the reigning Premier League champions will struggle to get what they want.
