Carlo Ancelotti’s side have started preparing for Friday’s trip to Valencia, although not everything has gone as planned.
According to Relevo, Endrick Felipe suffered a blow after a collision with a teammate during the practice match and had to be treated. He was seen limping for a few minutes after the incident, but eventually recovered from the problem, suggesting he should be absolutely fit for the trip to Mestalla.
Alaba, the good news
Beyond that, the big news of the session was the return of David Alaba, who trained with the squad for the first time since rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in a match against Villarreal last December.
This is an important step for the Austrian defender, although he is not expected to be available for Real Madrid selection for some time to come.
