Ferland Mendy, starter this season, was very disappointing, and even his replacement Fran Garcia was not able to convince. Carlo Ancelotti therefore benched them for Sunday’s win against Sevilla, with Eduardo Camavinga in their place.
Real Madrid hope to resolve the problem next summer with the arrival of Alphonso Davies, although he now appears more likely to sign a new contract at Bayern Munich. Alternatives are therefore currently being considered.
Hernandez targeted
According to TEAMtalk (via ED), Real Madrid are increasingly open to pursuing the re-signing of Theo Hernandez, whose situation at AC Milan appears uncertain. He has declined in prominence in recent months, and given his current contract ends in 2026, he could be available at a reduced price next summer.
Hernandez would be a great signing for Real Madrid, especially if he can be acquired cheaply. He’s only 27, so he has many years ahead of him.
