Friendly: Metz neutralized, Toulouse beaten

Promoted to Ligue 1, FC Metz had a friendly outing on Tuesday. The TFC too.

After three successes over Racing Luxembourg, Seraing and Troyes, Metz could not make the pass of four on Tuesday.

Les Grenats were held in check by Standard de Liège (2-2), surprised by Berberi (62e) and Emond (90e) while Maziz (12e) and Camara (72efrom the penalty spot) gave the Mosellens the advantage twice.

In the process, still in a warm-up match, Toulouse lost to Norwich, residents of the Championship, the second English division.

Over three periods of 40 minutes, the British made the difference at the very end of the match, by Fassnacht (97e) and Gabriel Sara (115e). The TFC remained on two losses against Werder and Montpellier, and a draw against FC Andorra.
