Continuation of the 15th day of the Bundesliga, this Saturday. On the lawn of the Bay Arena in Leverkusen, Friborg lost heavily against the reigning champions (5-1). At the half-hour mark, Ritsu Doan made a nasty mistake in his area, forcing the referee to call a penalty (31st) for Bayer. Florian Wirtz, however, missed the exercise against an attentive Noah Atubolu (34th). At the end of the first period, the German striker made up for it by delivering a superb assist to Patrik Schick (45th+1, 1-0), who unlocked the counters. Wirtz even scored a goal after returning from the locker room (51st, 2-0). Vincenzo Grifo reduced the gap a few minutes later for Friborg (55th, 2-1).

Patrik Schick finally came to extinguish the last hopes of his opponents by scoring three precious goals at the end of the match (68th, 74th, 77th). Thanks to this big victory, Leverkusen remains in 2nd place in the Bundesliga, behind Bayern Munich. For its part, Friborg is in 8th position in the standings with 24 points.
