BL: Frankfurt surprised by Mainz, Sankt Pauli offers Stuttgart

After Bayern Munich’s sparkling victory against RB Leipzig (5-1), the 15th day of the Bundesliga continued this Saturday with five posters scheduled for 3:30 p.m. At Deutsche Bank Park, Mainz, although reduced to ten men after twenty minutes of play, created a sensation by defeating Eintracht Frankfurt (3-1). Buoyed by a double from Nebel and an own goal from Santos, Bo Henriksen’s troops moved back to 5th place. Frankfurt maintains its place on the podium.

In the other matches, Gladbach won on the field of Hoffenheim (2-1) thanks to two goals from Sander (23rd) and Plea (61st). Also note the very good victory of Kiel against Augsburg (5-1) and that of Werder Bremen which hosted Union Berlin (3-1). Traveling to Stuttgart, Sankt Pauli also got a breath of fresh air in the red zone by winning three points (1-0).
