Marcus Rashford’s adventure at Manchester United is coming to an end. Not really in the plans of his new coach Ruben Amorim, the English striker announced that he was ready to take on a new challenge.

Comments which made various observers and certain legends of the Mancunian club react. In comments relayed by the Daily Maillegendary former Red Devils midfielder Paul Scholes spoke about the Rashford case.

For the former number 18, the end seems inevitable for number 10. Looks like it’s the end for him. He doesn’t look happy, the boy. Even if he scores a goal, you wonder what’s wrong with him. Does he receive the necessary support behind the scenes? We don’t know what’s going on. But it happened with (Erik) Ten Hag, I think he was late for a meeting before the Wolves game, and again he was left out of that team. I think his safe and off-field choices aren’t quite the right ones. I hate seeing local players leave, especially when they are so talented.

And to continue his remarks: “But I think the problem with Marcus is that he was so good two years ago, when he had that season where he scored 30 goals, he never managed to get back to that level, and that’s why he gets fired. He produced what was the standard, and then over the last 18 months, two years, he didn’t measure up. If he can succeed elsewhere? There is every chance of this happening. But he can’t do it for us. »

Marcus Rashford could perhaps discover a new championship. His name has been regularly associated with Paris Saint-Germain for several years. It remains to be seen whether the Parisian club intends to take action this winter or next summer. To be continued…
