FC Barcelona has resumed training after the viral epidemic of recent days.
Last week, a stomach virus spread through the Barcelona team, making it impossible to open the pre-season against Juventus and forcing the club to cancel the game, which caused a shortfall of around 2 million euros.
Just over two days before the game against Arsenal, MD claims the team has fully recovered from the virus and trained as normal in Los Angeles on Monday.
Pedri, Gavi, Raphinha and Alejandro Balde were seen promoting with Brazilian musician Anitta, before taking part in the first of two training sessions on Monday. They will have another on Tuesday before the game against the Gunners.
Xavi’s preparation has arguably been disrupted by this virus issue which could force him to catch up in terms of fitness before the season kicks off.
FC Barcelona still have four matches to play before the start of the season against Getafe, but the physical trainers will have planned their progress down to the smallest detail.
