Paris Saint-Germain delivered a successful performance by winning against RB Salzburg (3-0). The capital club, which was gambling on its European future, relied on achievements by Gonçalo Ramos, Nuno Mendes and Désiré Doué to achieve this precious victory.
For Doué, this goal had a very special meaning, it was his very first in the Parisian jersey since his arrival in the capital last summer from Stade Rennais. At a press conference, after this second success for the Rouge et Bleu in six LdC matches this season, the Parisian coach was complimentary towards the Angevin. Lucho said he was particularly satisfied with the recent performances of Doué, also the decisive passer on Nuno Mendes’ goal.
“For me, during the last three matches that he has just played, he has helped improve our performances in attack and defense. I am very happy with his last three matches. He did not play in his favorite position but we have great confidence in him,” declared the Asturian.
