Last night, Paris Saint-Germain won 3-0 in the Champions League against a weak Salzburg team. A meeting during which Lucas Hernandez was able to return to the field, he who had missed seven months of competition due to a rupture of the cruciate ligament in his left knee. The Frenchman, who replaced the injured Nuño Mendes, was happy after the match. “It’s a pleasure, it’s a pride to be back on the pitch. When you suffer an injury like that, it’s never easy. Mentally, from the first day after my operation, I knew that I was going to come back quickly and stronger.

Then, he talked about PSG’s great operation last night. “It was very important to come here to get the victory. We’re staying positive, I hope this is the start of a long road in the Champions League. The team is young but we were all calm. The circumstances of the match depend on the opponent, but from the start we wanted victory. We talk a lot about efficiency these days but we are working on that. Today (last night, editor’s note), we scored three but we could have scored others (…) There is a relief of course, we knew that it was going to be an almost decisive match for us. There was no need to miss it. We were present, we keep this victory hoping to continue this same dynamic in January. They will be two big teams (Manchester City and Stuttgart), but we will play with our crowd, it will be our number 12. The message got through.
