The Stade de France will change hands. According to information from RMC Sportthe events giant GL Events will recover the Stade de France concession for a period of 30 years, from August 4, 2025, the end date of the current concession. This is the first time since the start of its operation in 1998 that the largest football stadium in France will change hands.

The group managed by Olivier Ginon, who is apparently close to Emmanuel Macron, has a large-scale renovation and modernization plan in sight for the Saint-Denis compound. In coalition with the two major residents of the Stade de France, the French Rugby and Football Federations, GL Events will therefore enter into exclusive negotiations with the State to determine a viable economic model for the resumption of the theater of the closing ceremony of the last Olympic Games.
