Endrick was expected to seek a regular first-team role away from the Spanish giants and be loaned out to another team in Europe. The Brazilian starlet has struggled to break into the first team and the presence of Kylian Mbappé ahead of him in the pecking order has made the prospect of a temporary move away from the club appealing. However, Marca report that the striker is keen to fight for his place and stay at the club.

Endrick wants to prove he can be important for Carlo Ancelotti in the second half of the season and believes he can best prove himself at Madrid, rather than at another club. The youngster is confident he can demonstrate his abilities and become a key player for the team this season and believes he has already overcome similar challenges at Palmeiras which will help him again. Endrick is happy to take his time in Madrid.

Endrick wants to stay

Endrick joined Real Madrid for €60 million in the summer after scoring his first Brazilian goal at Wembley, but he has struggled to establish himself in the Spanish capital. He has only played 149 minutes of football this season and is yet to start for Ancelotti’s side.

Real travel to Italy to face Atalanta in the Champions League on Tuesday. Los Blancos have work to do in the competition to ensure they qualify for the next round, even if it is only via the play-off stage. After a disappointing night at Liverpool in their last outing, Real will be keen to prove they can go to a difficult pitch and secure victory.
