Carlo Ancelotti has revealed the extent of Jude Bellingham’s injury following his substitution in Real Madrid’s 3-0 win over Girona.

Real Madrid returned to winning ways against Girona with a 3-0 win, after losing to Athletic Club in midweek.

Bellingham opened the scoring while Arda Guler and Kylian Mbappé were also on the scoresheet. In the second half, Bellingham complained of an injury, apparently a muscular problem, and was substituted.

A minor problem for Bellingham

The England midfielder has already suffered an injury once this season, missing four league games with a similar muscle problem in August and September. Ancelotti, however, doesn’t think there is any reason to panic. However, with players like Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao and David Alaba already out, Ancelotti gave a less optimistic verdict on Ferland Mendy, who is also out injured.

Ancelotti told reporters: “(Bellingham) is fine, he’s available. We had (Ferland) Mendy’s muscle injury, but the rest are blows, nothing more. »
