Perfectly served by Luka Modric, the French striker scored his 8th goal in 14 La Liga matches – his 10th in 20 appearances in all competitions this season. After a run down the right flank, he deceived Gazzaniga with a cross shot shortly after the hour mark.

Despite a difficult start in Madrid colors, Mbappé seems convinced of having made the right choice by joining the reigning European champion club. The former Parisian is fully enjoying his experience within a squad that he considers to be one of the best on the continent.
