In an interview with Marca, the Brazilian Ronaldo, former great Real Madrid player, was full of praise for Kylian Mbappé. According to him, the French striker remains promised a major role in the history of the Madrid club. And he doesn’t seem at all worried about his current poor form.
Ronaldo still believes in Mbappé
“Mbappé will have a huge impact at Real Madrid”he assured, before adding that he has all the qualities necessary to ultimately win with the Merengues. The two-time Ballon d’Or winner compares Mbappé’s arrival to his own time at the Spanish club (2002-2007). He insisted on the fact that the Bonydnois has the speed, technique and sense of goal to ultimately shine in the white jersey.
Ronaldo also stressed that Mbappé’s integration into the Madrid squad is not limited to his individual prowess. He also believes that his leadership and his ability to raise the collective level will be essential to continue making Real Madrid a benchmark team in Europe.
In short, Ronaldo is convinced that Real Madrid made the right choice by betting on Mbappé and that it is not his sluggish adaptation to his new club that should make people believe the opposite.
