While he will celebrate his 26th birthday in two weeks, Kylian Mbappé is going through the most complicated period since the start of his career as a professional footballer. Last Wednesday, the Real Madrid striker once again missed his match, against Athletic Club, on the sixteenth day of La Liga.
Will the former Paris Saint-Germain player manage to get out of this bad patch? Teddy Riner is convinced of this.
“I think every athlete has down moments. I think he’s at the bottom of the wave. Like any athlete, he will bounce back. He will come back up this slope, that’s when we will see the great champion that he is”warned the judoka on RTL airwaves.
Mbappé, Riner advises him to rest
The five-time Olympic gold medalist uses his personal example to advise Mbappé. “Every time I felt that I no longer felt like it, that I needed a change of scenery or a little rest, I took that rest. It’s better to anticipate it than to find yourself in a somewhat deplorable situation”assures the native of Pointe-à-Pitre.
Kylian Mbappé recently spoke to Mouloud Achour during an interview which will be broadcast on Sunday, in “Clique”, the show Canal+. The merengue number 9 should in particular discuss his current difficulties, his night trip to Sweden as well as the conflict opposing him to PSG.
