The news is hot at Paris Saint-Germain. Due to a crisis of results, particularly in the Champions League, Luis Enrique is clearly called into question. The Spanish coach is said to be at odds with several of his stars such as Ousmane Dembélé and Bradley Barcola. Concretely, the former boss of La Roja would be considered too intransigent by his flock.

The only problem is, even if the information has still not been made official, Luis Enrique has extended his contract until 2027. It is therefore difficult to think of him in the hot seat, even if an elimination before the C1 play-offs will not fail to revive the debate. Faced with the media, the Spaniard can in any case count on the support of his president. After denying any interest in Mohamed Salah, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi wanted to once again show his support for his coach.

Luis Enrique comforted

“In my opinion we have the best coach in the world at the moment. He is building a project for the future. Results count, but we remain focused on our project”he declared on the microphone of Sky Germanybefore discussing the transfer policy of the capital club which now gives priority to young, up-and-coming talents at the expense of big, overpaid stars. The opportunity for the Qatari leader to reaffirm his convictions.

“There are a lot of rumors about players, but we are very clear. We have one of the youngest teams in Europe, if not the youngest, with an average age of 22.5 years. We are building a team for the future with our great coach. We have a long-term plan with this team and this coach. Our players are united, it’s a fantastic group with a great atmosphere. There are always rumors in the media – they want to sell newspapers. But I believe in our project, in our system, in our coach and in our plan. » It’s said!
