The Marseille transfer window has accelerated significantly in recent days. A new full-back could be on the way.
After poaching Geoffrey Kondogbia, Renan Lodi and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and while the deal seems to have been concluded with Watford for the arrival of Ismaïla Sarr, OM are continuing their summer shopping.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Marseille club is making good progress in discussions with Atalanta Bergamo to obtain the loan of Joakim Maehle – a Danish side capable of playing in both corridors who in 2021 had already almost joined Marseille.

The only disagreement for the time being between the two clubs concerned: the Dea would like a loan with a compulsory purchase option while OM would like a loan with a purchase option, of course, but without obligation. Under contract until June 2025, Joakim Maehle is valued at 14 million euros on the specialized site Transfermarkt.
