Ruud Van Nistelrooy will not have remained unemployed for too long. After being shown the exit door by Ruben Amorim at Manchester United, the Batavian was able to find another vacant position in the English championship.

According to the English press, RVN will take control of Leicester City. He will succeed Steve Cooper, who was fired at the end of last week. His mission is to prevent the descent to the Foxes.

Van Nistelrooy rolls up his sleeves

Ironically, Leicester is the only team that Van Nistelrooy beat twice during his ten-day interim at the head of the Red Devils. Each time by three goals (3-0, 5-2).

Van Nistelrooy will arrive at the King Power Stadium after his name had been mentioned in Hamburg. He was announced as the favorite to take charge of the European champion club in 1983.

Van Nistelrooy should begin his adventure with Leicester City next Saturday with a trip to Brentford.
