Pogba is looking for a new club after having his contract terminated by Juventus. The midfielder will be able to resume his career in March, after his doping suspension is lifted, but will have to find a new employer.
Speculation is rife about where Pogba could bounce back in 2025. His name was mentioned in Marseille recently, but it is baseless noise. And now it is being announced in Manchester.
Never two without three for Pogba?
Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has already spoken about Pogba’s possible return to Old Trafford. And it was the turn of former Arsenal and France defender, Bacary Sagna, to support this hypothesis. The ex-Auxerois also believes such a move is possible as Amorim shapes a new team after succeeding Erik ten Hag at the helm of the Old Trafford side.
Sagna said in an interview with Mega Dice: “The situation is different today at Manchester United compared to when Paul was there. United have a young coach, a coach who has been a player, a coach who understands the situation. He will probably be willing to have a player like Paul at his training sessions. Amorim was a player himself, so I’m sure the manager will be open to the idea of him coming home because he loves United.”
Sagna then swore that he had been taken into the confidence by La Pioche: “I spoke with Paul several times. He loves United. The only problem is the situation when he returns. “There was a period when things didn’t go as well as they should have, but Paul wasn’t the only player to struggle at United during his time there.”
