Like Luis Enrique, Vincent Kompany also reserved a few surprises in Bayern’s starting lineup for the Champions League clash against PSG, this Tuesday evening at the Allianz Arena (9 p.m., live on Canal+ Foot), for the count of the 5th day of the league phase. Harry Kane will be supported by the phenomenal Jamal Musiala at number 10 as well as Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sané on the wings, at the expense of Serge Gnabry and Michael Olise.

Olise and Guerreiro on the bench

Olise is missing a good opportunity to shine against a French club even though he has been his Belgian coach’s preferred choice for the right winger position since the start of the season. The French international recruited from Crystal Palace started in FC Bayern’s first four European matches, against Dinamo Zagreb (9-2), Aston Villa (1-0), Barça (4-1 defeat) and Benfica ( 1-0). He was only decisive during the offensive festival against the Croatian club, with a double.

Raphaël Guerreiro also leaves the Munich starting lineup, the Portuguese international native of Seine-Saint-Denis. Konrad Laimer is preferred as a right back. Dayot Upamecano is faithful to the central hinge position alongside the South Korean Kim Min-Jae. On the Bayern bench, we also find Sasha Boey, Eric Dier, Thomas Müller, Mathys Tel, as well as Israeli goalkeeper Daniel Peretz (Manuel Neuer is hit in the ribs but continues in the goal).

The Bayern lineup: Neuer – Laimer, Upamecano, Kim, Davies – Kimmich, Goretzka – Coman, Musiala, Sané – Kane.
