The soap opera is in full swing. But this time, compared to previous summers, the roles are reversed. It’s PSG who want Kylian Mbappé to leave, and the player wants to stay. And we understand the Parisians, since if the French stay one more season in Paris, he will leave for free in a year, and the champion of France should thus give up on a nice amount.

Not to mention the difficulty of building a coherent sports project knowing that the best player in the team will leave in a year. PSG thus seeks to put pressure on the player, even going so far as to threaten him to stay in the stands all season. An extreme solution and which is not so likely to be applied, but which shows how much PSG wants the Frenchman to pack his bags now.

Real Madrid counts its money

As the daily explains The Team, the Ile-de-France management even set a price for the former Monegasque. PSG want to recover at least 150 million euros. A substantial sum, but approaching the 180 million euros paid for his services at the time.

An amount that the Madrid leaders do not however intend to pay according to the Iberian press, since the Merengues know that they will be able to have it for free in a year, especially since as explained AS, for Mbappé, it’s Real Madrid or nothing. The club chaired by Florentino Pérez knows it is in a strong position and could wait until the end of August to go on the attack against a PSG with their backs to the wall and significantly lower this sum of 150 million euros…
