In the pipes for a few days, the transfer of Moussa Diaby from Bayern Leverkusen to Aston Villa was formalized on Saturday.
After notably wearing the colors of Paris Saint-Germain and Bayer Leverkusen, Moussa Diaby is embarking on a new adventure. With yet another change of championship for the tricolor international who therefore leaves the Bundesliga to join the Premier League. Announced for several days, the arrival of the striker at Aston Villa was formalized on Saturday by the English club.
After four convincing seasons with Leverkusen, Moussa Diaby was recruited for an estimated amount of fifty million euros, all accompanied by bonuses which could total up to ten million additional euros. The duration of the new contract of the former Parisian “Titi” has not yet been specified, even if the latest rumors evoked a lease of five seasons.

Under Emery’s orders
At Aston Villa, Moussa Diaby will evolve under the orders of another former PSG, in the person of Unai Emery. This season, the striker has scored fourteen goals and provided nine assists in forty-eight games in all competitions.
