The French team ended its last rally with a victory (3-1) against Italy on Sunday, after a frustrating draw against Israel (0-0) on Thursday in the League of Nations. For the second time in a row, the Blues once again had to cope without their captain, Kylian Mbappé

Not called up in October by Didier Deschamps, the Real Madrid striker was once again excluded from the list of 23 players for the month of November. However, this does not seem to call into question his place in the future of the Tricolores, if we are to believe the words of Philippe Diallo, president of the French Football Federation.

A return of Mbappé hoped for in March

“There is no problem. I am the president of the Federation, I am not the coach. He explained his choice at the time of the list. (…) Today, he is in a delicate sporting period. When he is the best player in the world, he is an irreplaceable asset for the France team”affirmed the Nazairian.

Despite Mbappé’s current bad luck, the French leader is confident about a return of the 2018 world champion to the selection next spring. “My only wish is that he returns to what he is and that he joins us in March at the next gathering to bring us everything he has already brought to the France team”explained Diallo for the L’Équipe channel.
