Manchester United striker Joshua Zirzkee could leave the club to everyone’s surprise. The 23-year-old arrived this summer from Bologna for a considerable fee of €42.5 million. However, he struggled to find his feet in the Premier League, scoring just one goal for the club in 16 appearances.
According to Il Matino in Italy, new United manager Ruben Amorim is not a big fan of the Batavian. He might be willing to give him up as part of a player swap to bring in a power forward.
Naples will have to decide for Osimhen
United could offer Zirkzee as well as a fee to Napoli for their striker Victor Osimhen, who is on loan at Galatasaray. There is, however, competition for the former Lille player since Newcastle United and Chelsea would also have him in their sights.
This solution is likely to interest the Partenopei. If they benefit from it, they should not see any problem in the sale of the Nigerian international, especially since the latter no longer wishes to play much for them. And Zirkzee is an element that has already proven its ability to shine in Italian Serie A.
